review 1: My reviews of the first two books in this series are similar, this one remains the same. I liked the characters and the setting but those inner dialogues! By the time I got to this book (I'm reading all 3 books back to back) I started just skipping the inner dialogues and quite frankly I don't think I missed much of the story. I like this author's characters and story lines, it will take some consideration whether or not I continue to read her books. It's not a bad style of writing, I can see how some people may like all the details. It's just not a style of writing that I enjoy right now.
review 2: Sandpiper Island is a wonderful heart felt story of Delia and Ford. While their circumstances are different, they are both loners who find in the end that they fit
... morenicely together. The progress of working through the rough exteriors and learning to accept help from each other added to the romance. In the real world, this progress takes time. I’m so glad that Ms. Kauffman did not try to rush that aspect of the story. I certainly enjoyed the Atlantic puffins rescue scene. However, I must admit that while I like Ford and Delia and enjoyed their story, Brodie and Grace with Whomper from Half Moon Harbor are still my favorite.I have come to love this small town set on the coast of Maine. These fictional characters live in a place of breathtaking scenery almost at their front door within a caring community. Blueberry Cove comes alive with genuine people with realistic issues and struggles, thanks to Ms. Kauffman’s writing. It is my kind of town. This is book three in the Bachelor series. The Brides series will definitely be on my To Buy List. I have so enjoyed this series.Copy provided by NetGalley for an honest review. less

3.5 stars I found this one a little slow moving. Well written, setting wonderful.

Good, not great. Especially compared to the other two novels in this series.
