review 1: I've been happily going through this author's backlist of novels over the past few days. This is another really enjoyable novel. It starts off very smartly with urbane and driven CEO Daniel suddenly realising that he's gay and in love with his best friend and business partner of 15 years, Nick. The beginning of the book is hilarious. Who would have thought the idea of a man going after his married friend (ye Gods, cheating!) would be so much fun. The use of cutthroat big business tactics to describe Daniel's campaign to win Nick from his wife is excellent. The story does become darker as real life issues have to be dealt with. ... morend it doesn't disappoint! This book has charm, wit, and even makes you like characters in the end that shouldn't have been endearing, now that takes talent! I was drawn to Daniel because of how, once he knew where his heart truly lie, he didn't try to deny it, he went for what he wanted no holes barred. I love the fact that Eli can bring two strong male characters together and still have the dominant one be known without making him overbearing. This is a slam dunk! You will be happy you read this one! less

This was cute. I didn't hate anything but I wasn't head over heels in love with anything either.
