review 1: This is my favorite of the "Four Soldiers" series so far. The dual perspective was helpful as always, and the H/h both had legit internal and external conflicts to drive the plot. There's also the fact that a beauty and the beast tale almost aways goes over well with me. Supporting characters were great as well! I loved his sister and the kids were amazing. Father figures make the tears flow for this gal!
review 2: I was thoroughly undone by "To Beguile a Beast"; this story literally had me in tears! The book is third of The Legend of the Four Soldiers series, but the first that I'd read. The author, Elizabeth Holt, filled the story with rich detail, lush imagery, and empathetic characters who are both well developed and distinctly different from the blushing v... moreirgins and dashing heroes typically on the agenda. I've already added the rest of the series to my reading list, but "To Beguile a Beast" will most likely be my favorite of the series. A thoroughly diverting, easy to recommend read. less
