review 1: Is it possible to have a happily ever after with more than one person? This is the dilemma surrounding "Hotter Than Ever."I began the Out of Uniform series with the final installment, "As Hot as it Gets." As soon as I was finished with that book, I knew I had to go back and read some of the others. Intrigued by the situation of Claire, Aiden and Dylan, I chose "Hotter Than Ever" to read next.The clear talent of Ms. Kennedy is her character creation, and though the concept of a committed threesome is a strange, these three make it work. Each has their own backstory, motivations, and challenges, and all acted accordingly. Their hesitations and ultimate decisions were natural for the people Ms. Kennedy created, and I cheered for them to somehow find a way to make it.The only ... morenegative I'd comment on was some repetition. There were some common characteristics in this title as in "As Hot as it Gets" - characters "honest to a fault," physical descriptions, and some dialogue, but it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the story. I will point out, however, Chicago is not on the east coast, as characters repeated several times. Chicago is a Midwestern city.I'll definitely be picking up more of the Out of Uniform series. I love those Navy SEALs.
review 2: Oh my days did I LOOOOVE this book! I'm already a huge fan of the Out of Uniform series but Elle Kennedy has surpassed herself with this one.I've just reread this entire series but this is the first time I've read this book, call me crazy but I was saving it!! And boy was it worth the wait. I enjoyed every single second of this smokin hot sweet story. I won't ruin it but just read this series, I can not stress enough how bloody fantastic the series and Elle Kennedy's writing is. She's absolutely one of my favourite author's! Pleeeease keep them coming Elle!!!Another one of my fav's of this series! less
