review 1: Competently written. Fun. Still comes across with my standard werewolf gripes -- that is, the male lead is basically a woman in a man's body, focused on relationships and a fridged ex and only superficially a macho hero. The competing romance was ridiculous and the story should have been written more tightly, cut down in length by about 30-50%. All said though, I enjoyed the read. Trying to decide now whether to continue to the next in the series.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book....the author has a witty and irony-laced sense of humor that often came at unsuspecting times. I thought the main character John was well developed and interesting. He had issues to deal with, but he did it honestly (even with himself). I also thought Sig was a great character.... more..not really technically an anti-heroine but she definitely was a different breed than most paranormal female main characters. All in all, a great read, and I'll be reading the next ones! less
