review 1: Sometimes I just love my flawed characters *sigh*. Tough, snarky Roxy Tam has no idea what she is, but she knows how to survive. Über alpha male Dagan Krayl knows exactly what he is, a killer, but doesn't realize he has a soft candy center. When the two come together exciting things happen. I like these two and I'm going to enjoy getting to know them as a couple. Did I say "getting to"? Yes friends, book #1 only scratches the surface of our couple's relationship and sets the stage for what I hope will be an interesting story arc. Thankfully, I don't have to wait.
review 2: I had a hard time coming up with how many stars to give this book. I liked the prologue and then the first half of the book was kinda blah for me. I felt no connection with the chara... morecters. I started to wonder if the book wasn't actually a paranormal romance. Then at some point it picked up for me and I was sucked in. Now I'm dying for the next one and bummed that the library doesn't have the digital copy of the next one. ugh! I love ebooks! less
