review 1: Emma Parrish accepts a position as governess, to the son of Lord Anthony Craven, at Manorbrier Castle. Lord Anthony was married to a cousin of Emma's. There is the mystery of her cousin's death and rumors that Lord Anthony may have murdered her and then there are the strange occurances happening at the castle. I have enjoyed Eve Silver's Gothic style romances but this one wasn't up to par with the others I've read.
review 2: Love this authors books, so I am sure to love this one. (Ok, so the first book of hers I read had a Jack The Ripper plot so I may be biased. :-))I love the way Eve Silver writes. She writes in such a way that pulls me so completely into the scene, I can see it clearly in my mind. Its amazing. She has very quickly risen to my auto-buy.This b... moreook is yet another example of a wow book. She has a new one out and I plan on snagging it as soon as I can! less
