review 1: I found this book at a bargain shop so don't be angry about my not reading the first book before this one. Why is this not a 5 star book? Too many pages of sex scenes. I like a good sex scene as much as the next person, but I don't want to read 6 pages of one scene and have that repeated 5-8 times in the story. Other than that, this was a great read that I couldn't put down and I'm eager to read more from this series.
review 2: I love Gena Showalter. No really- I love her. :D Her books never fail to make me want to grab another as soon as I finish one because they are JUST THAT GOOD. They are re-reads for sure and Black and Blue is just another added to the list. The men in her series (or Arcadian in this book) are all super hot alpha men and the women are bada
... moress. No sissy girls here! Black and Blue has the perfect amount of angst, fighting, and love with a HEA. less
