review 1: Ahhh, Corbin Blue... & Evangeline Black. A fast-moving paranormal suspense involving relationships, both personal and work, with several unusual otherworlder species. Two very strong - and may I say pathologically-independent - and stubborn characters struggle their way through a hot romance. While I love alpha males, Corbin pushed many of my buttons - and he REALLY pushed Evangeline's buttons - but in the end, their relationship zig-zagged towards a balance I could happily accept. Not your average happily-ever-after, but a very enjoyable read - I stayed up until 3am so I could finish it!
review 2: Evangeline (Evie) is the bosses daughter and off limits to Blue. When the black ops office is compromised, Blue can only trust Evie to help him figure out what ... morehappened. They are determined to work together despite their dislike for each other. Lots of action as they search for the missing member of the Otherworld Assassin team. Loved the snarky humor between these two characters. George Newbern nailed their voices for me. less
