review 1: It is a very good final book of the series. All the threads of the story are gathered and nicely bond and sealed, all the mysteries explained. It is definitely a-must-read for all the followers of the Silo series, but at the same time, it is not very original or particularly brave taking into consideration the philosophy behind the plot. Still, I would recommend it as a highly skillful last installment.
review 2: Howey's Silo trilogy comes to an end in fine style. His writing has improved since the first book (or perhaps he's hired an editor?) his characters feel fuller and more fleshed out, and the execution of the trilogy's finale is perfect. There are no idiot plots to be found here; characters succeed on their wits without ever compromising their principles
... more for the sake of plot. Well done, sir, well done. less
