review 1: This was a great finish to the six part series of The Lost Fleet. So much action and intrigue, fighting and problem solving, love and hate, bad aliens and good enemies, you got the whole slew of action heroes. Did I say that this takes part in space, on space ships, with aliens and Syndicate versus Alliance scenerios. So much fun .....I give this novel and the whole series 5 stars ... a great read for guys!
review 2: The last of the original Lost Fleet series is pretty good, and FINALLY breaks (sort of) the formula for the rest of the series.While I found the series as a whole difficult to not read through, and the space battles very realistically portrayed, I think it could have all been handled in a trilogy.This last book, and the first book are the only volu... moremes to break the formula even a little, and they still seem to be the same story as all the other volumes. less
