review 1: BSDM really isn't my thing. (I am hoping that it goes out of fashion in this genre soon)However, this was different. The dynamic was the opposite of what I usually come across and far more interesting. Joe's coming out to his family was front and center but not over powering. I could see a family reacting that way with even the positive comments being laced with the bitter. What I liked best was the crime solving. It kept the story from getting bogged down with the family issues and it was nice to have the sex scenes bracketed with some real story.
review 2: Beautiful ending to a great series. The story was nice and tight and read smoothly. The sex was smokin and it was sometimes how far Joe got from vanilla. The mystery in this segment knocked right on th
... moree Peterson's front door. I was touched by the way Joe and his father came to terms over their differences. All of the characters were well fleshed out and most had some redeeming qualities. This is one of those series that gave a lot and I really never wanted to see end. Highly recommended. less
