review 1: OMG, this one was such a hidden gem ! Say Her Name is the first horror novel I've ever read. And I thought reading a horror novel wouldn't be the same as watching one. Duh. Could I possibly be more wrong? It had a very gripping plot. The air of mystery and suspense surrounding the plot made it so intriguing. I was seriously spooked a few times. All that drip drip drip and the ghost from the mirror was really spooky. But the plot was thrilling and that's what had me firmly trapped in its clutches. A great read !!
review 2: Honestly I do expected much more from this and it happens to be some Supernatural/Ring cross-over. Not that I didn't like it tho, it was intense and it took only few days to be finished. Sadly the story last overexposed. We all knew Bloody ... moreMery's scary stories, so that wasn't so much surprising really. It's just a different version that was pretty well written and wasn't any flats in the story line which I admired, but it really felt as something taken from lots of episodes of Supernatural (mentioning the show in the book does not makes this let obvious) and some horror movies. Still the story is good. Everything was happening so fast that you'll have the feeling your watching something and not reading it. It's an easy read when you feel bored and you want something to do it the next few days that will absolutely separates you from the outside world and let you be part from a horror movie. Even tho it seems trivial I don't regret reading it and I believe you won't as well =) less
