review 1: Great read. James Rollins introduces a new character in this book and promises he will return . Tucker Wayne is an ex-special forces soldier who works with a war dog, Kane. Sigma recruits him to get a Russian scientist out of the country. A Russian General high up in the GRU is hunting the scientist for his discovery. The characters are wonderful and the insight into the intelligence and skills of a military war dog are inspiring. The reader gets to see through Kane's eyes the workings of the animal's mind and you instantly fall in love with this wonderful dog. I found myself holding my breath when ever Kane was in danger. Can't wait to read about their next adventure.
review 2: When Tucker Wayne was introduced with Kane in one of Rollins' Sigma Force books my ... morefirst reaction to the character was that I wanted to see more of him. Rollins provided another glimpse in a Kindle short story that I read in one sitting. The Kill Switch finally provides a full dose of Wayne and Kane and Rollins promises that we will see more of them in the future. Like all of his books, the action is non-stop and it is hard to put the book down. Eagerly looking forward to more. less
