review 1: I absolutely loved the first book in this series but the second one didn't live up to my expectations. There was little movement between Fortune and Carter in the first book and it just as slow as a slug in the second book. Regarding the mystery of who killed Pansy, since we didn't even know how she died until page 149, I was actually starting to think she might be alive :-)However, I will continue to read Jana's novels because of her witty voice and I love these characters. But I will be buying them as kindle editions since the print copy was such poor quality (cover rolling up, margins messed up and it was difficult to read the last few chapters)
review 2: Oh my hell! I am pretty sure my husband and step sons think I'm a complete bone head for literally laugh... moreing out loud while reading this book. On several occasions too! These women are by far the best group of gals ive ever come across in a series of books. Never could I have imagined loving these books so much. Jana Deleon sure does have a way of coming up with those awkward situations that always end up with someone half naked! lol I am so hesitant to start the next one... my husband says I may need rehab once I catch up. Loved this book. less
