review 1: I was surprised at how the book ended, not on a cliff-hanger, but in full-out hunting mode!Sabina's problems with intimacy, trust, and love makes so much sense when you look at her history. That she can love and trust at all is remarkable and it gives me hope she and Adam are going to work out.Giguhl is my favourite character in the novels. Just as Sabina has grown so has he. I luff him.
review 2: have grown to love this series as it goes on and this book was no exception. We get back into this series with Sabina picking up the pieces from the last book and helping Maisie adjust after being rescued. I loved the way that Sabina and Maisie have formed such a sisterly bound and it was surely tested in this book. I hated seeing all they went through this time ar
... moreound and was wishing for a better outcome. This book finds us seeing that Team Awesome is picking up the pieces of everything that has happened to them. I have to say that I loved the fact that we got more Sabina and Adam time in this book. These two are making me love them more and more and I was glad everything was out in the open and they were getting a fresh start. As the story continues we learn that Sabina is just not going to get the quiet life that she wants. She once again has to contend with finding out who is behind some murders and with that Team Awesome is back in action. I love when they all work together to solve things because it is just so much fun. Sabina soon learns that who may be behind it all is not what she expects at all. I have to say the author shocked me and I was not expecting this to play out the way it did. I think my heart was shattered right along with Sabina and I am hoping the next book helps me recover. I am telling you readers this is not what you will see happening at all.Overall this book had so much action and there is so much that goes down in this book that changes Sabina and I don’t know if she will ever be the same after it all. There are major revelations that take place and a major character meets a tragic end but I won’t say who as to not spoil it for anyone. I am hoping that somehow the author will find a way to make this all ok for me and other readers. This was another great installment of this series though and I can’t wait for the next book to see how it all ends and how Sabina handles all that has been thrown her way. less
