review 1: I quite enjoyed the scheming in this one - particularly Marie. She's an interesting character.It's a shame though that Denise's background/development is not at all explored in these books, not even hinted at besides a few sentences. Of course it would take the focus away from the side-series, but still, a little more explanation might have been nice before certain things were just suddenly sprung on the reader of this series.
review 2: 3.5 stars because it started out really slow and unlike the four other books, this one made me cry. Also, I think this lacked the sexy times between Cat and Bones that we all have grown to love. Fingers crossed that there will be more of them in the next book. We also only saw less of Bones here and only a mention of Ian. I know... more Ian can sometimes be annoying but along with Vlad, he brings humor to the book. less
