review 1: To start off,I thought this was an ok book. Usually I'm in love with all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, but this time it sounds like it was too dragging. There was a lot of good humor but I think he could have done much better. The story was about the Heffley family going on a road trip and everything went wrong. I also felt like he kept repeating the same incidents over and over again. But I have to say that this book was super funny and kind of took my mind off the story line.Jeff Kinney is an awesome author but he should start coming up with more original ideas instead of something that most people already used. A road trip is a really common idea that most people have used in a lot of movies.So maybe he could have combined a lot of ideas together to make a bigger b... moreook.Overall I have said I would recommend this book to someone who wants a good laugh.
review 2: Greg's mom decides that they should go on a family road trip. Greg wants to have road trip where they go to the water park and the beach. They take a vote and end up having a pig in their van. They go to all sorts of places where never expected to be.After a crazy adventure they finally reach home finding Greg had the key in his back pocket all along. This book is funny just fun read and very adventurous. I recommend this to people who like reading funny and comedy books. A family road trip can turn into a adventurous journey. less
