review 1: What an unexpectedly great find this book has proved to be! I loved the unique writing style, and found the 2 main characters created the right balance that made this story very grasping. This is a many-layered book with some excellent characterization, along with interesting people (Ian's brothers are everyone's dream family). At the heart this is a love story about acceptance and tenderness. Ian doesn't always follow what Beth's talking about, and she doesn't always understand him, but as Ian says, "We all have our madness. Mine is just the most obvious." True, also quite a bit obvious were the various plots, which I figured out long before they were resolved, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I am really looking forward to the next one in the se... moreries!
review 2: *3.5okay i basically sat in front of my laptop figuring out how to rate this because i genuinely had no clue how. like, writing-wise i def think this deserves a 4 and if you asked me what i disliked about the book i probably couldn't say anything BUT emotionally i think this was only a 3 probably 3.5 for me. i liked it! i really did but it didn't quite grab me the way i wanted it to. idk!!!!!!! less

This was great. Ian is a hero on the autism spectrum. Reading how he falls in love was wonderful.
