review 1: Rating this was difficult.I loved FOL, so I should like this, right? This was completely unnecessary, although I liked the bonus chapters at the end. The other chapters from Matt's POV didn't enhance FOL at all. I learned NOTHING new.I wouldn't waste my money on this at all on the whole scheme of things, even if the bonus chapters were fun to read. They didn't carry along the relationship and give it the HEA that I would have wanted. But I've started reading FOCeleste and I now wonder if the author intended it this way? We'll see.
review 2: I usually don't read companion novels - I want the novel to speak for itself. Flat Out Love certainly told the story and I didn't need any additional storyline. I read it simply because I wasn't ready to say goodbye to
... more the characters. I am glad I read it. There obviously wasn't anything included in FOM that wasn't included in FOL. You got a deeper understanding of the motivation and of course, I got closure. less

The first chapter didn't seem believable, but I enjoyed the rest.
