review 1: I didn't expect much from this as while I enjoyed the first book, I really disliked the second. Similarly I loved one of her stand alone novels but couldn't finish the other. I chose to read this because I didn't want to leave the trilogy unfinished, and I'm really glad I did as I thought this was excellent. I liked that it didn't focus completely on CJ as that is where I felt the major flaw lay in the second book. I really liked the characters of Dalia and Manny. I thought the plot was really well done. However the ending really frustrated me!

Initially I was put off by the 'americanisms' in the first couple of chapters, but this was soon lost as the storyline moved along at a fast pace and was incredibly gripping especially towards the end, so much so that it had to be finished to find out the conclusion. less
