review 1: Received this book through Goodreads giveaway. I enjoyed reading this book and wod recommend it to others to read. I can see the difficulty in having to prove the Plea of Insanity. Being a medical professional I am still undecided if justice was served at the end. I would read another of Jilliane Hoffman's books. I liked her writing about places in NY that I drive by regularly and can relate to. I would read another one of her books.
review 2: I really enjoyed "Plea of Insanity" by Jilliane Hoffman. I had never read any of her books before and found this to be thoroughly engaging. A well-written legal thriller, with a bit of mystery and romance added in - how can you not love it!! I found myself really "sinking in" to the story, wondering what was going to happ... moreen next. The conflict between her landmark trial and her own personal past was especially well-done. As was the ending when she realized she had been 'had' on many levels. A great read!!I immediately picked up another book by this author, and look forward to reading more of her work. less
