review 1: Have I mentioned how much I love this graphic novel? The illustrations are amazing. The story line superb. I am sad that it is over.So what can I say that won't spoil book 1... In this graphic novel a new key is discovered which does something super freaking creepy and kind of cool at the same time. The villain is still awful. We meet new characters. I'm rooting for Rufus! I bet he'll help in the end.If I could have a house with a bunch of cool keys I totally would. The book says grownups don't believe in magic. I do!!! Too bad it's not real. Harry Potter anyone? If you haven't read the first volume yet what are you waiting for? It's not really that scary more like a murder mystery....
review 2: I was hoping this would be just as good as volume 1. I wasn't disa
... moreppointed. This volume certainly hit the ground running, which is the best way for a second chapter in a series to start. Again there was a great blend of horror, mystery, and psychological thriller elements that kept me engaged throughout. The more the story unfolds, the higher the stakes become. This is a trend I hope continues. The setting is sufficiently creepy and the villain is unsettling in the best possible way. I can't wait to see what happens next. less
