review 1: I read this book as part of a semi book club (aka me and a few other ladies pick a book to read and discuss a chapter every week at coffee). I hesitated to give this five stars. I was going to give it four. Because a lot of the information, at least for me, was self explanatory. A lot of it I found my head nodding to and I didn't really need to read a book about it. But here's why I gave it five stars. Because it forced me to think about and put structure to an idea that, over the course of reading this book, became my dream, my life goal. And now I am actively taking steps to live out this idea. The questions it presented were useful tools to mold my idea into something that could become a reality. It changed my life and for that reason I give this book five stars. But to... more be fair, I did have a lot of help from my girlfriends who also read the book. They helped me dive deeper into the questions and thoughts presented in the book in a way that I probably would not have if I had read the book alone. So they changed my life too. But the book was the catalyst for that. And for that it deserves five stars.
review 2: I personally loved the book because I read it at the right time in my journey towards my dream and I had some success to apply it to. I love the fact that it reconfirms that what I am doing is where I want to be! I was able, by the end of the book, to answer yes to every question about my dream that was asked in the book. I really enjoined the second half of the book more that the first. If you don't have a solid dream and a vehicle to help you get there then this book might not be for you but if you do, it will only help you put your dream to the test! I really have to believe with all the passion in my heart that I am where I need to be. I love that John Maxwell is even open and vulnerable about his journey. We are not alone in anyway in this journey of life! We are all human! Thanks John Maxwell for writing this book and the help that it has and will continue to give me in my journey! less

Classic maxwell but not his best work... Visionering by Andy Stanley was more helpful in this area
