review 1: So fun. Every time I get one of their books, I think "what will they think of next." And yet they continue to come up with hilarious things, and different ways to break the 4th wall. This took time to read because I had to read the original story so I could see what got changed. And then I had to look at all the additions on the pages. I can see why the boys were excited to see this as one of our Book Dudes programs this year. I'm intrigued to see what we're going to do. And I am most impressed that they got the art to look just like those Little Golden books from so long ago, as well as creating a story that was similar in writing and cheese. Fun, fun.

What a genius way to write a story! I'm not sure if the Birthday Bunny story existed prior to this, but if it didn't, props to the author for writing an entire story only to cross out most of the text and add his own! His perspective is like that of a young boy trying to make a lame book more interesting, and I thought it was hilarious! There are other books like this listed on the back, and I intend to read them all! less
