review 1: So the big names sucked me in, and then proceeded to let me down. You can separate the good authors immediately by just glancing at the format of the page. A comfort is that most took two pages. Others dragged for seven. The same brief was used again and again. The words alibi, pickles, stinky cheese, and fat. There's only so many times one can bear to hear the same description. The ending was unrewarding. It's a long book full of repetition. I wouldn't recommend.
review 2: I have to point out that as a nerd/nerdfighter I really enjoyed Libba Bray's, Mo Williems', Maureen Johnson's, Kiersten White's, Lynn Weingarten's, Micol Ostow's, David Ostow's, Ricardo Cortés and Adam Mansbach's, John Green's ("So allow me to submit to evidence Exhibit A, my majestic puff ... moreof hair. You can't deny my puff. It wasn't me"), Gayle Forman's, and Peter Brown's anthologies the most. Also, why do I suddenly want to see a author photo of Lauren Oliver with a mustache? less
