review 1: I wrote this review after finished reading the whole series of BDB. Read straight from book 1 to 12 including the novella to give me the full understanding of all the brothers' characters.Many BDB fans favor Zsadist, but for me it's Rehvenge who closest to my heart.What about him that makes me swoon over... Well let'see...He has the most gentle soul, even though he's a symphath. A loving and protective son/brother to his family. Loyal to his friends, he sacrificed himself to saves his friends. The way he is with Ehlena...oh wow... I had butterflies in my tummy everytime those two interacted. My heart breaks for him when Ehlena denied to have dinner he prepared for her... How I wished I was there to ease his broken heart. Overall this book really overwhelm me. It has quite ... moresome action, drama, romances.. Also the crazy funny banters between the Brothers... It's all there.After a little bit dissappointed of book 5&6, this Lover Avanged brought JR Ward back on track.5 solid stars!!!!
review 2: I enjoyed this BDB novel so much more than the last two. There is a lot of background on characters other than those who are central to the story, and I actually read the Lesser parts instead of skimming through like I usually have to do. My complaint up until this point has been that the Lessers are so totally BORING. Lash has really spiced things up though and although I hate him with a passion, I will be sad to see him killed off eventually.Rehvenge and Ehlena behave, for the most part, like adults instead of tiny little babies (see Lover Enshrined's Phury) despite the many issues that pop up to try and derail their relationship. Really looking forward to Xhex and John's story (although expecting more whining, hopefully Xhex will beat his ass to make up for it) less
