review 1: I really enjoyed this book. I liked the meanness of Lord Eberlin and the fact that he had what's known as panic attacks today. I liked that Lily was no shrinking violet and decided to fight back. I listened to the audio version narrated by Justine Eyre and you can count on her to deliver a great narration. I recommend this book and know that I'll be listening to this book again in the near future.
review 2: Tobin, Lord Eberlin, has planned this revenge for a long time, he sees Lily as responsible for his fathers hanging fifteen years ago. The ordeal with the stealing of the Ashwood jewels, the trial and hanging of her friends father is something that still haunts Lily. Not that she thinks she testified wrongly, but that her aunt acted strange and it all end... moreed with her move to Ireland, being orphaened for the second time in her eight yeared life. There´s a lot of feelings between them at the same time Lily is fighting for Ashwood´s survival and Tobin trying to get his revenge.Regency romance, fluffy smut and the mystery of what happened to the jewels.
