review 1: A delightful murder mystery with one of my favorite things (in reality or fiction): a group of dissimilar girls who love and take care of each other. The nicknames ("Stout Alice," "Smooth Kitty," etc.) make it super easy to keep track of the girls from the very start and highlight their distinct personalities. It's great as a novel, but I would LOVE to see this done as a stage production somehow. It would be fantastic.
review 2: a very funny book, this is the story of 7 classmates who try to win their freedom after the headmistress of their small school dies. as they try to stay at the school and continue on without any adult supervision, numerous trials come their way and all is lost. or is it? searching for the murderer puts everyone under suspicion includ
... moreing each of the girls. can they solve the mystery and at the same time obscure the death of their headmistress? Are they in any danger themselves? And what are they to do about all the visitors ringing their doorbell? see for yourself and read this book for a light, humorous read. less

Delightful, I hope this is the start of a new cozy mystery series for tweens.

Fun read! Kind of like a dark and twisted version of Little Women. ^_^
