review 1: Ok this is it!! I had the set of books for maybe a year can not remember exactly how long but a long time!! When I started reading Darkfever I felt like this is so not a series I will finish but I had nothing els to read so I push through it. Then I was hook yes hook line and sinker!! Mac was a pretty little thing Barron's a mean mean old f@ck with no personality. Mac was lacking any ability to make me see the hero in side of her. Barron's did not get me all hot and ready except for maybe killing him!!my self or trying to kill him!! Ha ha he can not die bummer a big bummer. So I pushed through and reach Bloodfever and just like that everything chance for me because there is Dani hero of extraordinary possibility and I read all the books t... moreo see what happens to Dani !! Mac and Barron's story is fine but for me it was all about the Dani !! I recall my friends telling me I am nuts Barron's and Mac is the shit I did not get that at all. I think that Dani feels more human to me then Mac ? I don't say that the first 5 books was not good but Iced to me is where everything really starts getting interesting!! For me this series is about light and dark!! Good and evil !! What and whatnot !! Do and don't. Mac is dark!! Dani is light!! Barron's and Ryodan don't give a shit!! But for the woman they care about they will care! And that is my humble opinion !
review 2: One of my favorite series. I agree with some of the other reviews that the series could have been condensed to eliminate some of the redundancy. I also struggled with maintaining interest in book one and two, but could not put the rest of the books in the series down. I absolutely loved the characters in the Fever series. I felt that each character was so dynamic they could have each had their own book dedicated to them. Can't wait for the next book to come out! I have a girl crush on Dani and Ryodan is one of my favorite alpha males ever. If you're into action, adventure, mystery, girl's who kick a**, alpha males, and a whole lot of sexual tension, this is the series for you. less
