review 1: Lena struggles with a miscarriage and a botched raid while Will and Sarah struggle with their relationship. Uniting these two plots is the shooting of Lena's husband, Jared, the son of Sarah's deceased husband, Jeffrey. UNSEEN is not as good as Slaughter's previous novel, CRIMINAL, one of my favorite crime novels ever, but UNSEEN has several effective twists and a minor lesbian character I'd like to again.
review 2: Love, love, love Karin Slaughter novels. Her characters are so developed throughout the series, I feel like I know them as well as my own family. This latest one, although called a "Will Trent" novel) focuses quite a bit on Lena, the bad girl cop of Macon, Georgia. The excitement level stays at Warp 10 for the entire book. COULD. NOT. PUT. IT. DOWN.... more I think I set a new personal record for reading speed! Don't want to ruin the plot -- just READ IT! less
