review 1: A solid middle grade mystery-adventure. This is the first in the series I have read, but my students have enjoyed the others, so I jumped at the chance to load the ARC for this one on my kindle before a recent trip. Fans of 39 Clues and Infinity Ring will enjoy this, (and vice versa) although it does cover similar ground as some of those. I imagine this series is a bit easier to follow since all volumes are written by the same author. The action is fast-paced and takes the characters to interesting, real places. I particularly like that the characters doubt themselves, acknowledge differing motivations for their actions, and grapple with (modest) moral dilemmas in a realistic way.

... mores final novel in the Silver Jaguar trilogy Henry takes center stage. He, along with Anna and Jose, the cohorts from the previous two mysteries, are left to their own devices to find the stolen masterpieces. The senior members of the Silver Jaguar Society have mysterious disappeared so Henry is left not knowing who to trust. All the while He is worried about his prematurely born sibling. The action in the book is so entertaining while the well developed characters keep the reader engaged. Lots of unexpected plot twists. I read am ARC courtesy of NetGalley less
