review 1: I was so disappointed in this book. I knew Jack from the Simply series as Violet's twin brother and thought the book would follow along in that vein. Instead I read a story where Jack meets Mary and Simon, knows they are conning him, but has sex with them anyway. There was no romance, at least to me, and the "couple" Jack and Mary seemed extremely unlikely. I would have bought Jack and Simon more easily. If this is what the rest of the series is like I will pass, especially given the price of the books.

Jack was first introduced in the House of Pleasure Series ... more(SIMPLY SCANDALOUS). I can't wait to sink my teeth in that series. Jack was torn by his fascination of Mary Lennox, Countess of Storr and her brother or the desire to finally own a home of his own. The story slowly reveals and uncovers each and every of Mary's secrets. It was so hot and scandalous of the bed partners. It was a scorching page turner. Can Jack get want he most desire? I can't wait to read the next book in the series. less
