review 1: Amulet the stonekeeper's curse by Kazu kibuishi WOW this book leaves me speechless not only was this my favorite book but it probably the most action packed.The story follows Emily and her little brother Navin traveling to far lands to find their mother a cure for the poison that a weird slug like creature injected her with.I don't want to spoil the book to much so that's all I will tell but it's a good book for all ages. If you haven't read it read it if you have read it recommend it to your friends.
review 2: WOAH! What an epic sequel!So, in this instalment, we pick up right after the events of the first, so you're immediately sucked back into the world.The story was a lot more interesting in this instalment and the entire story was so fast-paced and full of... more adventure. The characters are fun and interesting to learn about and I'm excited to see where the story goes.The artwork in this series is quite nice and I really enjoy its simplicity. Sometimes in graphic novels, the illustrator tends to overdo it with the drawings when it's not necessary and I get distracted by the drawings instead of actually paying attention to the story. However, in this series so far that hasn't happened to me which is great.I'M EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. less
