review 1: NetGalley Free BookEmma has decided that her last year in college will be lived well. This will be done before she has to hide her desire when she goes back home to work in the family business. She has put on her BDSM choker and decided to go to the city to visit her favorite club for the night. Before she gets far however she is pulled over for speeding by Drew. He is the loner cop who not only notices the collar but cannot seem to stop himself from ordering her out of her car and bending her to his will. It backfires and Emma has seemed to capture the cop. This story was a typical lovestory but still held my attention until the end. The love scenes were so hot. The author did a really good job at writing this book and keeping the story going on an even level. There... more were no real surprises. At some times in the book there was a bit of a lag but nothing really noticable. The relationship seemed to have no real problems either which made the book a bit boring at times.
review 2: Emma meets Drew while speeding. He pulls her over and notices her necklace, a symbol only in the BDSM lifestyle would notice. Instead of writing her a ticket, he gets to become the true Dom that he is. They roll play for a few minutes on the side of the road until things get very heated and take it to his home. Emma is trying to finish off her last year of college with a bang (pun intended). She's into the BDSM lifestyle, but she knows when she returns to California, she may have to revisit the vanilla world, one she really does not want to do.Drew is harboring some issues from his past, but he cannot deny his attraction towards Emma. He proposes they start a relationship but with the knowledge that Emma will be leaving after her graduation. He is very guarded with his feelings, not feeling any type of love from his parents. Then when his best friend's wife dies, he doesn't feel he deserves love.Lots of steamy sexy between these two. Can Emma really leave Drew after knowing she has fallen in love? Can Drew really let her go? You must read to find out. Very good book, quick read.An ARC was provided by the publisher via Net Galley for an honest review. less
