review 1: 15 hour listen via Audible. By far Stella and Mace are my favorite couple of the Rock Chicks and hot guys. After an epic break up after 5 months of dating, a year later, Mace finds he doesn’t like it much that his ex-girlfriend got shot right in front of him but it’s worse. A very bad man has thrown down the gauntlet and all the Rock Chicks are in the firing line. Stella doesn’t want Mace to be the one to keep her alive, but she has no choice. Epic moments include, Secret Agent Eric, Mace giving Stella an ultimatum, Mace's mom, Mace's dad, Mace's sister, Hector the band manager..... When Stella and Mace FINALLY get "their shit" sorted, there is not stronger team or couple. The Epilogue is fantastic with a capital F.
review 2: I really didn't like Stel... morela. I just couldn't get into her. I like that she was an ol'school rock chick but everything else about her was annoying! I actually didn't like Kai that much either, but his story was interesting. My favourite part of this book, though, is how it changes POVs sometimes. The best POV, though, is Jane's! OMFG WHEN SHE FOLLOWS HECTOR AND SEES HOW HE DRIVES UP TO SADIE'S GALLERY BUT JUST STAYS IN HIS CAR LOOKING AT HER WAS SO SAD I ACTUALLY TEARED UP! HOW MANY TIMES DID HE DO THAT, HOW MANY TIMES DID HE JUST DRIVE BY HER APARTMENT OR GALLERY WISHING SHE'D LET HIM IN *ugly sobs* MA BBYS less
