review 1: OK... apparently I dropped the ball somewhat this year on making sure to document all my reading... As far as I can tell, I re-read/listened to this somewhere around November 23rd, 2014... and totally forgot to mark it here. Thank goodness my Audible app marks books as finished and keeps them in the order that I finished them.So... especially kicking myself because I really like this book in the Rock Chick series. I like Roxy, really, I do. Add fellow Rock Chicks and Hot Bunch... a kidnapping or two, a Hot Guy chin lift, a melty stomach, stubborn fight against the inevitable, and let's not forget a random catfight (possibly including tasers)... and I am in my reading happy place groove. *Sigh* (of happiness)
review 2: I love reading these books (so far) but... more the main women characters have been kind of the same. Indy was a little different because she was the first but both Jet and Roxie were similar in the aspect of they were both insecure and it gets old fast. Otherwise it was a good book. I just hope that Jules and Vance have a different dynamic to their relationship and she is a stronger character without so many insecurities. less
