review 1: 4.75 Stars OMFG I didn't think these books could keep me any more entertained, I was wrong. I Loved this story. Though it wasn't quite as good as #3, because the humor was much less and I didn't see Tex (My favorite Character) as much. I still loved this book! LAW- What can I say? I love that woman and of course Vance. The only thing that kinda bummed me out was we didn't get to get a huge history of him. Law is a kickass Social Worker with a side job as a Vigilante,- she was beyond a badass! And even more so, very lovable. Shoot, I'm not even a Cat person, I despise the damn things and I still LOVED her cat. Brilliant book, buy the fabulous K.A- Once again.
review 2: I swear the first 60% or so of this book gave me a physical headache it was so stupid and jus... moret flat out bad, but thanks to the last part of the book my headache went away and I kind of started to like Jules and even started to love Vance again.The first of the book was so painful I had to skim, a lot. The whole premise of playing middle school pranks on drug dealers as an act of vigilantism was just flat out asinine. I guess it was meant to be funny, it was too ridiculous to be funny and the fact that a social worker was doing it and putting those kids in danger was even worse. The first time they started trying to help or get involved and she couldn't control them, it is time to stop you moron. Well it was time to stop before she ever started really. Then she goes from clueless virgin to clueless slut in a day, WTF. I won't even go into what I thought of Luke's sorry ass in this one. I almost feel sorry for this Ava chick that apparently will be his, finally he is obviously desperate since he has tried with the last two females. I am thinking that he will just want her because hey look a vagina that can finally be mine without me moving in on my friend's woman. Asshole.Vance annoyed me in the first half of the book too. He didn't come across as Alpha, he came across as asshole. I did like that he actually gave her space for the break up thing unlike the first 3 books, it made for a decent change until the Jules being a slut thing kind of ruined that part.Then finally Jules actually acted like she had some sense, a major feat with these stupid females. She even admitted and understands she is an idiot. lol! The shit that was in her head and the mamma jamma thing unfortunately never went away but it was easy enough to skim that especially her dogs in her head. Idiot...At the point when Jules removed her head from her ass and Vance went from asshole to Alpha, I really liked the story. I loved how they got together and actually started to communicate, they finally worked as a couple for me. But since I had to slog through that first half or more of the book I couldn't love it. It would have been a 5 star read if it weren't for getting through the first half, I managed but it was truly painful. less

Least favorite by far and mainly because I didn't find the characters engaging. The story was unrealistic. I don't believe anything that comes from Jules' mind. And I found Vance extremely irritating. After they had sex he didn't come clean and explain his intention to give her a break. Jules also became a crier towards the end. I wanted a real, tough badass but I ended up disappointed. Normally, I don't mind reading insta-love (hell I loved Hank and Roxie's story) but I really didn't like the relationship between Jules and Vance.

I was so excited to get to read Vance's story and it didn't disappoint! I love him and Jules together. I really liked that Jules wasn't trying to leave Vance every five minutes and that Vance trusted her (mostly) to protect herself. I really liked that you saw more than one persons POV in here but wish it was more frequent through the book. Overall this was one of my favorites (besides Indy and Lee) so far!
