review 1: What can I say...Luke...hot, hot, hot. Ava has known Luke since she was 8 years old and has always been in love you him. However, she was overweight, had glasses, bad hair and not much confidence to blame on her bitchy sisters. After seeing Luke at his father's funeral she made the decision of not seeing him until she changed the way she looked. Which she did but while she did she dated a man who used her and stole from her. After 5 years, she decided to show up at Luke's job to ask for help with her BF's bad situation. Luke could not believe his eyes when he saw Ava. This Alpha male was going to do anything and take down anyone that stood in the way of him having Ava just for himself.OMG...LUKE
review 2: So, I started the book liking Ava with her faded jeans... more and flip flops. Lol then she got a little Annoying because she's nice to every guy but Luke. Luke never give her a reason to hate him yet she's bound to just lie to him all the time. Anyways she said one thing and do another. I was a little piss on her but I still like the fact that she has good/bad Ava to consult with. To me, you don't act like Ava with the guys because it leads them on. Yes, I can see that she's insecure due to her past and seems innocent but you can't be that naive with her already knowing they want in her pants. There are things that Luke does to her that piss me off as well. But later on towards about 70% of the books, Ava finally reveals the Ava that Luke said was hiding. I loved that Ava. She's smart, funny and caring. Lol I have to say, she redeem herself and she's one of the best character in here because she at least listen to danger and not put herself in stupid situation. At least not on purpose. I thought it was stupid for her to grab the bad guys gun and throw it at Eddie but really these books are so unbelievable that you probably roll your eyes and slap your forehead but still you would love it because this doesn't happen in real life. There are so many things I didn't really like, like Sissy going back with Dom knowing he kidnap Ava and was about to rape her if not for Mr. Kumar. No amount of ass kissing or begging can erase this. But all in all, it's more believable then the pervious books on the other stuff. I like reading these series because it's cheesy and it makes me laugh even if I roll my eyes all the time. But not sure if I wanted to continue reading or just skip to Ally because things are getting redundant. If I skip, I might miss how she and Ren become closer. less
