review 1: This was my 2nd attempt to read this book. It has taken me WAY too long to get through it. The story line is good, the character development is quite different than what I am used to. This book was originally published in Sweden and is translated by Sarah Death. I think because it is a translated book (the first one I have ever read) and the writing style made this such a difficult read for me though. I have not finished the book yet but I am hoping to finish it by this weekend. Beautiful cover though!
review 2: This book had a really good beginning to it. The beginning of the book you are almost certain of who the "killer" is, but towards the end it totally changes. Things are not what they seem. It is a bad twist, there are too many middle stories going... more on within the story. Instead of it just being a solved murder it goes in depth of the characters life outside of the crime investigation which I find odd. Also, the transitioning wasn't very good. Its a good read if you dont mind disappointment. less
