review 1: I really like this series, and I liked this book even better than the first one. The characters and stories are interesting. It's nice to find a non-typical detective series--cult investigations in exotic locales versus the typical murder mystery next door. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and hope the author brings back the supporting characters he introduced in The Egyptian. They were a great compliment to the main character, Dominic Grey.
review 2: Dominic Grey is back with more another cult thriller to solve! Green brings back the mystery, paranormal, chills and thrills with The Egyptian. If there were ever to catch a readers attention would be to start in a far away such as Egypt. Egypt which just calls to the mind great things such as
... more the culture and the mystic that goes along with it. Through some science along with the that and you are sure to get something that all make you hair stand up on the back of your neck. Imagine what can go wrong with someone receives a package with silver test tube that is suspended! Grey and his partner, Viktor will have their work cut out for them in this one sifting through myth, the mystic, and science to see what the Egyptian really is.. Green never does disappoint and those who love the series, love such a story poured into such a woven tale with amazing characters will love Green’s work. I found myself nearly at the edge of my seat reading the ending and I am sure all of you will too. less
