review 1: Dang...really thought Genya was a true friend to Alina...the twists just keep on coming...this short story (meant to be read after Shadow and Bone) else you're in for some major spoilers really shows just how manipulative yet charming the Darkling could be to get his ways...hope Genya redeems herself in the following books....definitely looking forward to see what other twists Leigh Bardugo has in store...
review 2: The Tailor, book 1.5 in the Grisha series, is a nice addition to the series. It is written from the perspective of Genya (AKA The Tailor). It gives you a window into the true relationship between Genya and the Sun Summoner (Alina), as well as setting up her role in the Darkling's master plan for Ravka. Its very short, but it definitely recommende... mored to those who are fascinated with the world of Ravka. less
