review 1: I REALLY liked this book. I read it in one day!! Just this morning actually, I've been sick the whole week so it was fun to sort of get my mind off of things. The end was so intense with Lucy having a miscarriage but then not because the weaker twin somewhere along the way died. Just like how Will died and it was so intense and aghhg. I don't really like how Lucy so easily changed her mind about Will, but I guess the heart wants what the heart wants.
review 2: I nominate this book for the absolute worst way to end a series. The Burnouts make me want to give Allegiant a higher rating. I am so disappointed right now. The first book was like an accident on the side of the road for me, I just couldn't put it down even though horrible things were happening in t... morehe story. The Saints hooked me too, I read it the day it was released, this dark twisted story had me on the edge, as soon as I turned the last page I wanted the 3rd book to be finished! Now that I have read the Burnouts I almost wish I would have never read the series. What an intense bummer, utter lack of creativity and no respect for Will, even from the authors. Shame on you Lex Thomas. less
