review 1: I can't believe the series is over!! I was really thinking that with the last book it would have been a little longer to kind of bring everything to a close....but there are still lingering questions and things that are not completely solved, so that was the reason for four stars....I did find little snippets on the authors page to start tying in small bits with how royal and tiff are growing... I hope that the author comes back with another book eventually with more adventures... I am sad that I have to move on to another book series....I got so caught up in these stories I feel so depressed they are over, lol! Highly recommend this series!!!
review 2: The last Whisperings novel is a bit disjointed, as it is undecided what it wants to be when it'll grow up :)... more Half UF, half mystery/detective, the plot can't stay on course.It seems to me the threads are not well woven together. The story fits, but Tiff moves around between the murder of her friend/acquaintance and the conspiracy with no real aim. They do come together at the end, and with a big bag, but in the mean time the book is not exactly either one.The "extras", like the ghosts and their own stories, only underline the problem. I did like the first four books in the whispering series and if you are a fan, you don't want to miss the last two. I do not know if this really is the last book in the series, from the ending it may be so. I think it may be good to star something new. less
