review 1: I'm so glad that I discovered Lis Wiehl! This is the third book in her Triple Threat series, all of which I've been able to download for free to my Kindle from my library. While I've enjoyed the other two quite a bit, I think I liked this one even more. Or maybe I'm just really getting to know the characters and enjoying their growth and their growing friendship. The villain in this one, a cold hearted woman (with a heart of ice) was really chilling and very well written. Good book!
review 2: Lis Wiehl tells the story of a brilliant but evil sociopathic woman. The Triple Threat group is on the case - three very close friends, one of whom is a TV crime reporter, one is an FBI agent, and the 3rd one is a criminal prosecutor. Bodies keep turning up, with no a... morepparent relationship to any of the others, yet the women feel they are somehow connected. The criminal sociopathic mind is detailed and examined, and the selfish lack of empathy displayed is chilling. This was a good crime story, and the characters were very well developed. less
