review 1: Elizabeth Ellis is an ordinary housewife and Mother. She is in an unhappy marriage. When she is angry with her husband she "wishes him dead". Next thing she knows police are at her doorstep telling her about the fatal car accident her husband was involved in. This isn't the first time Elizabeth has been upset with someone and "wished them dead"., only to have them die a horrible death. Is she causing their death with her thoughts? Is it even possible? She becomes the prime suspect in her husbands death. There are enough twists and turns in this book to keep you turning the page.
review 2: This book is bloody tedious. I struggled past the first third then pulled the plug. Lisa Jackson and Nancy Bush are very readable authors and I've enjoyed a number of their ... moreindividually produced novels; nonetheless, I wonder if the siblings should take a pass on jointly adding to the series. Wicked Ways is proof positive that there isn't always strength in numbers. I'll definitely read their individual works going forward although I'm inclined to stay away from their joint works. less
