review 1: Glad I read Fragile first - a lot of the same characters - plot easier to follow after recalling the history from the first book. Dealt with more dark issues - blind rage, unnatural parent/child attachment, sociopath husband, compulsive lying, stepparent/stepchild relationships. Real people, real problems. Though the heavy reliance of the psychic in the plot may annoy you if you are a staunch non believer - I found it entertaining though.
review 2: I'm generally a Lisa Unger fan....and yet I chose not to finish this book. As others have said - - the first 20-40 pages...you would think this book is going to be amazing......but somewhere along the way it falls very flat. Did Lisa lose the passion for the story?
