review 1: Even though I had not read the first Ridley Jones I found I quickly became involved in the story. I liked how the author presented details from the first book. This is an interesting book. There are so many great ideas about identity, family relationships and how we perceive the people will love. All this is interwoven in a suspensful mystery with lots of action. There were some surprises too.
review 2: I started this book not knowing that it was a sequel and I'm glad I didn't rush out and grab its predecessor. It took me a long time to finish and I only did so hoping that it would finally turn into a better read. It failed. I got the feeling that it was written with the author's hopes that it would be snapped up for film rights but, without a decent plot,... more I don't think even Hollywood would be game enough to take this on. Definitely missable. less
