review 1: Jude really does leave her decision until the last minute. She is fully aware of the damage she has done and decides to leave for Cornwall. It seems that all is going to be okay for Jude as she takes on a new job at a beautiful mansion, but a turn of events threatens not only Jude's job but also the future of the mansion. Jude does not have time on her side, as the new owner of the mansion just wants the house sold, out of his life. Jude also has to give some of her thought to what she has left behind, her jilted groom and her own parents, who cut her off.Jude was not really a character I warmed to. For me, the beautiful setting, the history of the house and the Trevillion family much more of a page turner. In fact the house seemed to be the character I cared for the mo... morest in this battle of characters and wills.

I won this book on the GoodReads giveaway and want to thank author Liz Fenwick for offering the book, autographing the book and sending it to me.I Was so glad that I was able to receive this book and be able to read it. The Cornish Affair is such a wonderful read. Once it arrived I began reading it. The book I won was in Dutch and I have not read much in Dutch for many many years. I soon picked up and remembered easily for the author drew you into the story from the start and made it so you did not wish to put the book down. With her wonderful storytelling, supreme setting, and amazing charters she whisked you away to Cornwall where everything came so alive and kept you wanting to find out more by the turn of every page. The authors love for Cornwall shows in every page. I just loved this book it had me sitting on the edge of my chair wanting to find out what was going to be happening next. It is a wonderful page turner of an amazing contemporary romance. This book I would Highly recommend to anyone who is wanting a great read. I can not wait to read her next book I am sure it will be as amazing as this one. I want to Thank her again for sending me this book and wishing for me to read it. Great job!! I want to also get this book in English to have also. It is a keeper for my book collection. less
