review 1: love Rhyn and Katie. Once again I started this story and read far into the night to finish it. Katie trying to find her way through the world of immortals and demons. Rhyn trying to work with his brothers even when they all hate him. There is suspense. betrayal. passion. Lizzy Ford weaves an emotional roller coaster. I felt the struggle both Rhyn and Katie experience. Everyone immortals, demons, and Death try to pull Rhyn and Katie apart, while the two have doubts of their own. The end of this second books left me sad and hoping for a different ending. I wondered what Lizzy Ford had in store for the next book, and started it as soon as I finished this one. I am addicted to Rhyn and Katie.
review 2: My Daddy always said the best followers always make the best l... moreeaders.The question this book made me ask myself is do I have what it takes be a good follower. To be able to put the desires of someone before my own, could I trust someone elses judgement and vision more than my own. Could I hear and feel such contempt and doubt towards me and then Let It Go? I don't know but I'm sure that adventure would not be as thrilling as this book. With ex-cons, divorce, single moms, this book sounds like the fantasy version of my life.VERY GOOD STORY- TELLING LIZZY! less
